Ultherapy in Frisco, TX

Ultherapy uses micro-focused ultrasound to deliver heat to the deep support layer of the skin — the same layer a surgeon tightens in a facelift — triggering new collagen.

In short

What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy uses micro-focused ultrasound to deliver heat to the deep support layer of the skin — the same layer a surgeon tightens in a facelift — triggering new collagen. It is FDA-cleared to lift the brow, under-chin and neck, and to improve lines on the décolletage. One session is usual, with results building over 2–3 months.

Ultherapy is the only such device with ultrasound imaging built in, so the practitioner sees the tissue layers while treating rather than working blind. It lifts and tightens; it does not remove volume loss or resurface the skin's surface.

The process

How Ultherapy works

  1. 01

    Imaging the tissue layers

The built-in ultrasound shows exactly where energy is being placed, so treatment is matched to your anatomy rather than a standard depth.

  2. 02

    Focused energy at three depths

Energy is delivered to the deep support layer, the dermis and superficially, creating precise coagulation points that the body repairs with new collagen.

  3. 03

    Your own collagen response

Nothing is added. Tightening comes from tissue remodelling over the following weeks — which is why the result is gradual and looks unforced.

Is Ultherapy right for you?

  • You have mild to moderate laxity — a softening jawline, heavy brow or loose under-chin skin
  • You want lift without surgery and can wait a few months for the result
  • You are not looking to replace lost volume, which needs filler instead
  • You do not have significant, heavy sagging, where surgery gives the better outcome

Benefits

  • FDA-cleared specifically for lifting brow, chin and neck
  • The only micro-focused ultrasound device with imaging built in
  • One session, no downtime, no injections
  • Results look gradual because they are your own new collagen

These treat different depths. A consultation is about matching the depth of the problem to the depth of the device.

Common questions

Ultherapy questions, answered

Is Ultherapy painful?

There is heat and a deep prickling sensation during energy delivery, strongest over bony areas. Settings are adjusted for comfort and most patients tolerate the session well with oral pain relief beforehand.

How long does Ultherapy last?

Around a year for most patients. It does not stop ageing — it resets the clock, and many patients repeat it annually.

When will I see results?

Some tightening at six weeks, with the real result at two to three months. Judging it earlier than that will always disappoint.

Ultherapy or a facelift?

Ultherapy suits mild to moderate laxity and gives a subtle lift. Heavy, hanging tissue needs surgery — we will say so rather than sell you a treatment that cannot deliver what you want.
