The Fotona 4D Facelift is a four-step laser protocol that treats the face from the inside of the mouth outward, using two laser wavelengths to tighten deep tissue, stimulate collagen and resurface the surface. There are no needles and no downtime, and a typical course is 3–4 sessions spaced about a month apart.
The step that makes it distinctive is the first: energy delivered intraorally, tightening the tissue around the mouth from behind. That is difficult to achieve with any device applied only to the skin's outer surface.

It feels warm, with the intraoral step being the most unusual rather than the most painful. Most patients describe the session as comfortable and return to normal activity immediately.
How many Fotona 4D sessions do I need?

Three to four, about a month apart. Improvement continues for roughly three months after the final session as collagen remodels.
Is there any downtime?

None to speak of. Expect redness and warmth like mild sunburn for a few hours; makeup can usually go on the next day.
