PRP is at its most effective in early to moderate androgenetic thinning — a widening part, a softening hairline, hair that has become finer. It does not create new follicles, so timing is the single biggest factor in the result.

We look for miniaturised hairs — the fine, short hairs that indicate follicles are struggling but alive. Those are what PRP can help.

Draw and concentrate
Your blood is drawn and spun to isolate the platelet-rich plasma.

Injection across the thinning area
A grid of small injections with topical numbing. This is the least comfortable part and takes about ten minutes.

Series and maintenance

How many PRP sessions do I need for hair?

Three to four, spaced a month apart, then maintenance every four to six months. A single session will not produce lasting change.
Does PRP hurt on the scalp?

It is the most sensitive area we inject. Topical numbing and a very fine needle keep it manageable, and the injecting phase lasts about ten minutes.
Will PRP work on a completely bald area?

No. Where the scalp is smooth and shiny with no fine hairs, the follicles are gone and only transplantation can restore hair there.
When will I see thicker hair?

Three to six months, because a reactivated follicle still has to grow the hair. Photographs at the start are the only reliable way to judge progress.
