LipLase is a laser treatment that plumps and defines the lips without filler or needles. Er:YAG energy applied to the lips and surrounding skin stimulates collagen, producing a subtle increase in fullness and a smoother lip border over a series of 3–4 sessions.
The change is modest by design — this is not an alternative to filler for someone wanting a substantially bigger lip. It suits patients who want subtle enhancement, or who cannot or would rather not have injections.

How LipLase works
01
Treating lip and perioral skin
Energy is applied to the lip body and the skin around it, so definition of the border improves alongside fullness.
02
Collagen stimulation, not volume injection
Nothing is added. Fullness comes from the tissue's own response, which is why the change is subtle and takes a series.
03
Maintenance
A session every few months preserves the result as collagen turns over.

Common questions
LipLase questions, answered
How much bigger will my lips look?
+
Subtly — this is enhancement rather than augmentation. Patients wanting a clear increase in size are better served by filler, and we will say so.
Is LipLase better than filler?
+
It is different, not better. LipLase avoids needles and improves lip skin quality; filler creates volume and shape that a laser cannot. Some patients combine them.
How long does LipLase last?
+
Several months. Because it works through your own collagen, maintaining the result means repeating the treatment periodically.
Does it hurt?
+
It feels warm with a light snapping sensation. No numbing is usually needed and there is no recovery period.
