Temple filler restores volume at the sides of the forehead, where hollowing makes the upper face look drawn and can pull the brow and midface down with it. Hyaluronic acid or a collagen stimulator is placed deep against the bone, and results typically last 12–24 months.
Temple hollowing is one of the earliest signs of facial volume loss and one of the least noticed — patients usually report looking 'tired' or 'gaunt' without identifying why. Restoring the upper face often does more for overall freshness than treating the lines people came in asking about.

How Temporal Fillers works
01
Mapping the safe plane
The temple carries important vessels, so product is placed in a defined deep plane against bone, or superficially with a cannula — never blindly in between.
02
Choosing the product
Hyaluronic acid gives an immediate, reversible result. A collagen stimulator builds volume gradually over months and suits patients wanting a slower, longer-lasting change.
03
Small volumes, symmetrical placement
Temples need less product than most people expect. The goal is a gentle convexity, not a flat plane.
Is Temporal Fillers right for you?
The sides of your forehead look sunken, showing vessel or bone outline
You look tired or drawn despite good skin quality
Your brow tail has descended as the upper face has deflated
You are not pregnant or breastfeeding and have no infection at the site
Benefits
Restores the frame of the upper face, which softens the whole profile
Can subtly support the brow tail and lateral midface
Small volumes make a visible difference
Hyaluronic acid options are reversible
Which filler is used where
Filler is not one product. The gel is matched to the job: soft and flexible for lips, firm and supportive for cheeks and jawline.

Common questions
Temporal Fillers questions, answered
Is temple filler safe?
+
In trained hands, yes — but the temple is an area where anatomy knowledge matters most. Product is placed in defined planes, and a cannula is used where appropriate to reduce vascular risk.
How much filler do temples need?
+
Often around 1ml per side, sometimes less. Severe hollowing may be staged across two visits rather than corrected all at once.
Will temple filler lift my brow?
+
It can give a subtle improvement at the brow tail by restoring support underneath, but it is not a brow lift. Combining with a neuromodulator gives a more noticeable change.
How long does it last?
+
Typically 12–24 months. The temple moves relatively little, so filler placed there tends to last longer than in the lips or around the mouth.
